The Board approved several requests for changes in shareholding patterns and mergers for entities such as Sai Wardha Power Limited and Kakinada SEZ Limited, subject to compliance with legal and financial regulations. It also ratified approvals for the procurement of restricted items like sand and soil for SEZ development. Several appeals against non-renewal of LoAs were rejected, while some cases were remanded for further consideration. The Board granted in-principle approval for setting up Free Trade Warehousing Zones (FTWZ) by NDR Infrastructure and Karanja Terminal in Maharashtra.
