It clarifies that such use of power does not disqualify the finished goods, like plugs, switches, and sockets, from exemption, provided other conditions of the notification are met. The proviso in the notification applies only to power used after moulding. All pending cases should be resolved in accordance with this interpretation, and relevant stakeholders must be informed.
