of <h1>DGFT Circular Eases Export Obligations for 2019-21 Amid Decline; Applies to Sectors with Over 5% Export Drop.</h1> The circular from the Directorate General of Foreign Trade provides relief in average export obligation under the Hand Book of Procedures of the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20. It applies to sectors where exports declined by more than 5% compared to the previous year, allowing a proportional reduction in export obligations for the years 2019-20 and 2020-21. Regional Offices are instructed to adjust the annual export obligations for EPCG Authorizations accordingly and to consider previous policy circulars when addressing shortfalls in export obligation fulfillment. The directive is approved by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
