of <h1>SEZs and EOUs: Revised Recycling Guidelines for Clothing and Plastic Units; Licensing and Export Conditions Updated.</h1> The circular outlines revised policy guidelines for recycling units in Special Economic Zones (SEZs) and Export Oriented Units (EOUs) concerning used/worn clothing and plastic. New units for worn clothing are not permitted, but existing units may renew their licenses for five years, subject to specific export conditions. Plastic recycling units can extend their licenses for 18 months, with potential amendments to SEZ and foreign trade policies to allow new units. Both types of units must meet Net Foreign Exchange (NFE) obligations and are permitted to clear goods domestically and to other SEZs/EOUs without affecting mandatory export obligations.
