of <h1>Visakhapatnam Customs Mandates e-Sanchit Document Upload for Importers and Exporters, Effective January 15, 2021.</h1> The Principal Commissioner of Customs in Visakhapatnam issued Public Notice No. 05/2021, mandating importers, exporters, customs brokers, and stakeholders to upload specific documents in e-Sanchit for certain import items, effective January 15, 2021. This requirement aligns with Board Circular No. 55/2020-Customs and includes declaring IRN numbers in the Bill of Entry. Items needing clearance from the Drug Controller must include a consignment label and an undertaking in the Bill of Entry. The system will prevent filing without these documents. Any implementation issues should be reported to the Joint Commissioner.
