Virtual hearings are now compulsory for adjudication and appeals, using video conferencing to facilitate stakeholders and ensure social distancing. Guidelines include mandatory email communication, submission of documents, and decorum maintenance during hearings. Hearings will be recorded, and modifications to records must be made within three days. Exceptions for in-person hearings are rare and require written approval. Previous instructions are superseded by these new guidelines.
