BEVO must be sold in sealed, tamper-proof packages not exceeding 15 kilograms, labeled as 'Blended Edible Vegetable Oil' with AGMARK certification. Compliance with the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, and FSS (Import) Regulations, 2017, is mandatory. Non-compliance may result in penalties under the Customs Act, 1962. Trade associations and customs brokers are urged to disseminate this information, and any difficulties should be reported to the Additional Commissioner of Customs.
