of <h1>RNI Added to e-SANCHIT for Paperless Processing; Importers, Customs Brokers to Stop Uploading LPCOs from May 31, 2020.</h1> The circular announces an amendment to Public Notice No. 02/2020 regarding the implementation of the e-SANCHIT system, which facilitates paperless processing under SWIFT by allowing Participating Government Agencies (PGAs) to upload digitally signed Licenses/Permits/Certificates/Other Authorizations (LPCOs). The Registrar of Newspapers of India (RNI) is now included as a PGA, bringing the total to 51 PGAs on e-SANCHIT. From May 31, 2020, importers and customs brokers will no longer upload LPCOs, as RNI will handle this. Stakeholders are urged to ensure correct email registration with ICEGATE for communication and document access.
