of <h1>Deadline Extended for COVID-19 Import Measures: Submit Bond by June 30, 2020, Instead of Original Certificate.</h1> The circular addresses COVID-19 related facilitation measures for importers, Customs Brokers, and stakeholders regarding the non-submission of the Original Country of Origin Certificate. Due to the extended lockdown, the deadline for submitting a Bond or Undertaking instead of a Bond for provisional assessment has been extended to June 30, 2020. Importers must replace the Undertaking with a proper Bond by this date. Previous amendments to Public Notice No. 16/2020 remain effective, and stakeholders are urged to disseminate this information. Any issues should be reported to the Additional Commissioner of Customs, with approval from the Principal Commissioner.
