of <h1>New Option for Importers to Use Duty Scrips for Project Import Bills of Entry under ICES Advisory 10/2020.</h1> ICES Advisory 10/2020 introduces an option for importers and Customs Brokers to debit duty through Duty Scrips for Project Import Bills of Entry (BEs). Previously, only one license could be used per item in a Bill of Entry, restricting other duty debit licenses. Now, the system allows duty debit scrips under the DEPB License Management option. Importers or Customs Brokers must file Bills of Entry with the Project Imports License number and can request Customs officers to apply the duty debit scrip for payment. This notice is issued with the approval of the Commissioner of Customs (Preventive) Jamnagar.
