of <h1>Ludhiana Customs Goes Digital: Bill of Entry Amendments Now Online and Paperless via ICEGATE System.</h1> The Customs Commissionerate in Ludhiana has announced measures to make the Bill of Entry amendment process contactless and paperless. Importers, exporters, and customs brokers can now file amendments online via ICEGATE, with the system queuing them for officer approval. Amendment fees, if applicable, will be electronically included in the duty challan for payment. The use of ICETAB devices allows officers to conduct paperless examinations and submit reports directly. A new app will soon enhance this process by enabling officers to upload examination reports and images. Trade associations are encouraged to disseminate this information to their members.
