of <h1>Customs Notice Extends Bond Submission Deadline to June 15, 2020, for Trade Facilitation During Lockdown.</h1> Public Notice No. 84/2020, issued by the Office of the Commissioner of Customs in Mumbai, amends previous notices to facilitate trade during the lockdown by extending the acceptance of undertakings in lieu of bonds required for customs clearance. Initially set to expire on May 15, 2020, the deadline for submitting proper bonds has been extended to June 15, 2020, per Board Circular No. 23/2020-Cus. Undertakings must be submitted via registered email or by an authorized Customs Broker and uploaded on e-Sanchit. All other conditions from Circular No. 17/2020 remain unchanged. Stakeholders are urged to disseminate this information.
