of <h1>Customs Notice Extends Bond Submission Deadline to June 30, 2020, u/s 143AA; Email or Broker Submissions Required.</h1> Public Notice No. 87/2020, issued by the Commissioner of Customs in Mumbai, addresses trade facilitation measures during the lockdown under Section 143AA of the Customs Act, 1962. It amends previous notices by extending the deadline for submitting proper bonds, initially replaced by undertakings, to June 30, 2020. This extension follows Board Circular No. 26/2020-Cus dated May 29, 2020. Undertakings must be submitted via registered email or through an authorized Customs Broker and uploaded on e-Sanchit. Other conditions from Circular No. 17/2020 remain unchanged. Stakeholders are urged to disseminate this information, and any implementation difficulties should be reported to the Customs office.
