of <h1>Customs Authority Launches Paperless Export System with e-Gatepass and Digital Shipping Bills.</h1> The Customs authority has implemented a paperless system for exporting goods, effective from June 22, 2020. This system eliminates the need for physical printouts of Shipping Bills and e-Gatepasses by sending digital copies via email to registered Customs Brokers and exporters. The digital documents include a digitally signed and encrypted QR code for authenticity verification. The e-Gatepass will facilitate logistics operations by providing essential details for quick verification at entry and exit points. All export-related documents must be uploaded to the eSanchit portal, and physical document collection is discontinued. Exceptions for printouts will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
