of <h1>New Procedure Simplifies NOC Process for Livestock Imports; AQCS Officer to Collect Samples at JNCH Daily.</h1> The public notice addresses the challenges faced by importers, exporters, and customs brokers in obtaining a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Animal Quarantine & Certification Services (AQCS) for livestock products. Due to staff shortages, AQCS has agreed to assign an officer to Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House (JNCH) for half a day to collect samples. Samples will be drawn in the presence of customs officers and brokers, then collected by the Central Sample Cell and handed over to AQCS for processing. Importers and brokers no longer need to deliver samples to AQCS at Koparkhairne. Staff and stakeholders are advised to follow these new procedures.
