        <h1>Customs Extends Undertaking Acceptance Deadline to May 15, 2020, Amid COVID-19; Bonds Due by May 30, 2020.</h1> The Customs office has extended the acceptance of undertakings instead of bonds until May 15, 2020, due to the extended lockdown from COVID-19, with the deadline for submitting proper bonds moved to May 30, 2020. This measure aims to facilitate trade during the lockdown period. Undertakings should be submitted via the registered email of the IEC holder or their authorized Customs Broker and can also be uploaded on e-Sanchit. Other conditions from Public Notice No. 25/2020 remain unchanged. Trade associations are urged to inform their members, and any issues should be reported to the office.
