of <h1>Customs Relaxation Extended: Submit Undertaking Instead of Bond for Clearance Until May 15, Bond Due by May 30.</h1> Public Notice No. 20/2020, issued by the Office of the Principal Commissioner of Customs (Import) in New Delhi, extends the relaxation measures initially outlined in Public Notice 14/2020. Due to the COVID-19 lockdown extension until May 3, 2020, importers and other stakeholders can submit an undertaking instead of a bond for customs clearance until May 15, 2020, with the bond submission deadline extended to May 30, 2020. The undertaking must be submitted via registered email and uploaded on e-Sanchit. All other conditions from the previous notice remain unchanged. Stakeholders are encouraged to disseminate this information.
