In light of COVID-19 challenges, the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has extended this facility. Exporters and related stakeholders are advised to understand and prevent future errors. The process involves submitting a concordance table mapping GST invoices to Shipping Bill invoices. Customs officers will verify and process IGST refund claims accordingly, ensuring accurate refund amounts and preventing duplicate refunds. The circular serves as a standing order for customs officers and staff.
