of <h1>Ludhiana Customs extends correction mechanism for SB005 errors in IGST refunds on exports until December 31, 2019.</h1> The Customs Office in Ludhiana has issued a public notice extending the alternate mechanism for correcting SB005 errors related to IGST refunds on exports. Due to invoice mismatches between GST returns and Customs data, many Shipping Bills face errors, blocking automated IGST refunds. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, exporters can now correct these errors for Shipping Bills dated up to December 31, 2019. Exporters and Customs brokers are urged to prevent future errors by understanding invoice mismatches. Any difficulties in implementing this notice should be reported to the Customs Office.
