of <h1>Mumbai Customs: IGMs and EGMs Can Be Filed Online Temporarily Due to COVID-19, Hard Copies Required Post-Lockdown.</h1> In response to COVID-19, the Customs Office in Mumbai has issued a temporary measure allowing Shipping Lines and Consol Agents to file Import General Manifests (IGM) and Export General Manifests (EGM) online, eliminating the need for hard copies to minimize human interaction. Shipping Lines must provide an undertaking to submit hard copies within 15 days after the lockdown ends. If a hard copy is needed for manual amendments during this period, it must be provided. Any difficulties should be reported to the Joint Commissioner of Customs. This notice serves as a standing order for officers.
