of <h1>Mumbai Customs Waives Late Fees for Import Cargo Due to COVID-19 Delays per Public Notice No. 54/2020.</h1> Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Customs Office at the Air Cargo Complex in Mumbai has issued Public Notice No. 54/2020 to address delays in the clearance of import cargo. Importers, exporters, customs brokers, and stakeholders are informed that late filing of Bills of Entry, which usually incurs fees, will temporarily not attract late fees for IGMs filed on or after March 20, 2020. This measure is intended to facilitate trade amidst document receipt and filing challenges. Any issues should be reported to the designated customs officers.
