of <h1>Relief Granted in Export Obligations for Declining Sectors Under Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20; Proportional Reduction Based on Export Drop.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade issued a circular granting relief in average export obligations under the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20. For sectors or product groups experiencing a decline in exports of over 5% from 2017-18 to 2018-19, the average export obligation may be proportionately reduced. Regional Authorities are instructed to adjust the annual average export obligation for EPCG Authorizations accordingly and ensure compliance with previous policy circulars before issuing demand notices or Export Obligation Discharge Certificates. A list of affected sectors is enclosed with the circular. This directive is approved by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
