of <h1>Ministry of Finance Implements 24x7 Customs Clearance to Counter COVID-19 Supply Chain Disruptions Until May 2020.</h1> The circular from the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, addresses the implementation of 24x7 Customs clearance at all Customs formations in response to potential disruptions caused by the Coronavirus outbreak in China. This measure aims to mitigate supply chain issues and manage anticipated surges in imports and exports. The 24x7 clearance will be in effect until the end of May 2020, with CRCL labs also operating continuously for timely test results. Chief Commissioners are instructed to arrange sufficient officer deployment and maintain records of transactions beyond normal hours, reporting daily to the Board. Public notices should be issued accordingly.
