of <h1>Central Board of Excise & Customs stops monitoring disposal of seized documents; ends monthly report submissions. Circular No. 48/88-CX.6 affected.</h1> The Central Board of Excise & Customs has decided to cease monitoring the disposal of seized documents and records. Previously, under Circular No. 48/88-CX.6, dated 10-6-1988, guidelines were issued for the segregation and timely return of these documents to the involved parties, with periodic monitoring of these cases. The current circular instructs that the monthly reports related to this monitoring, previously submitted by relevant parties, should be discontinued immediately.
