of <h1>Customs Announces Amendments to Duty Drawback Rates; New Entries for Industrial Wear, Stainless Steel, and More Effective Feb 13, 2015.</h1> The Principal Commissioner of Customs at Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House issued a public notice regarding amendments to the All Industry Rates of Duty Drawback. Effective from February 13, 2015, these amendments include new tariff entries for items such as industrial wear, leather and synthetic gaiters, PCB drills, stainless steel cutlery, and sports equipment. Changes also involve adjustments in drawback rates and caps for various tariff items, a 1% customs rate for optical fiber cables, and enabling brand rate drawback for rice exports. Trade associations and related stakeholders are urged to disseminate this information among their members.
