CHAs must use their new 15-digit PAN-based registration numbers for filing documents as of September 11, 2006, replacing old CHA numbers. The directory facilitates branch-wise registration, allowing document filing from any branch to any ICES location. CHAs must ensure their registrations are updated and avoid duplicate registrations across multiple sections. The ICEGATE website provides registration status and details, and CHAs can contact the helpdesk for assistance.
