Previously, the e-payment webpage displayed details of unpaid challans for Bills of Entry assessed to duty up to five days old. The update extends this period to ten days. Importers and agents are encouraged to use the e-payment facility available through specified banks. For further details, they are advised to refer to a previous public notice dated March 29, 2007.
