of <h1>RBI Streamlines Export Process: SDF Form No Longer Required with Shipping Bills at EDI Ports, per Notification No. 46/2015.</h1> The government has eliminated the requirement for exporters to submit the SDF form with Shipping Bills for goods exported through EDI ports, as per recent RBI amendments. Instead, a declaration of foreign exchange remittance under the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999, is now included in the Shipping Bill. This change aims to simplify export documentation and reduce transaction costs. Exporters, Customs Brokers, and trade entities must adhere to these updated procedures when filing Shipping Bills, as outlined in Notification No. 46/2015-Customs (N.T.) dated 18.05.2015.
