of <h1>ESANCHIT Expands to All Jodhpur EDI Locations for Voluntary Digital Document Submission via ICEGATE.</h1> The eSANCHIT application, initially piloted at select customs locations, is now extended to all EDI locations under the jurisdiction of the Jodhpur Commissionerate on a voluntary basis. This initiative allows authorized persons, such as Customs Brokers and Importers, to upload supporting documents electronically via ICEGATE, enhancing paperless processing and reducing physical interactions. The process involves digital signatures and unique reference numbers for document linking. Customs officers will access these documents online for assessment and clearance. While some documents must still be presented in hardcopy, all supporting documents should be uploaded digitally. The ICEGATE website provides detailed procedures and FAQs.
