of <h1>India's Finance Ministry Launches Online Platform for AEO Tier I Applications to Boost Ease of Business.</h1> The Government of India's Ministry of Finance has announced the digitization of the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Programme, aiming to enhance ease of doing business. A new web-based application for AEO Tier I (TI) applications has been launched, allowing importers, exporters, and customs officials to file and process applications online. The platform is accessible via aeoindia.gov.in. Manual filing will continue alongside digital submissions until March 31, 2019, to ensure a smooth transition. The validity of AEO Certificates for T1 and T2 has been extended to three years, with periodic reviews aligned accordingly. Concerns can be addressed to the relevant customs officials.
