of <h1>Customs Launches Pilot Program for Paperless Export Document Processing via eSANCHIT at New Delhi Depot.</h1> The Commissioner of Customs at Inland Container Depot, New Delhi, announces a pilot program for paperless processing of export documents via the eSANCHIT system under SWIFT. Starting September 1, 2018, exporters can voluntarily upload digitally signed supporting documents for Shipping Bills on ICEGATE. After a 15-day review, this will become mandatory. The process mirrors the eSANCHIT system for imports and involves document upload, assessment, and verification through ICEGATE. Customs officers will access these documents for assessment, and the system will eventually include Participating Government Agencies. Trade associations are urged to inform their members about this initiative.
