of <h1>New Procedures for Direct Port Delivery Containers at Mundra: Importers Choose Preferred CFS or Default to Shipping Line's Choice.</h1> The notice outlines procedures for handling Direct Port Delivery (DPD) containers at Customs Mundra Port. Importers have 48 hours to clear containers; otherwise, they are moved to designated Container Freight Stations (CFS). Initially, specific CFSs were assigned for un-cleared containers, but due to industry feedback, importers can now select preferred CFSs in advance. If no preference is indicated, containers will be moved to a CFS nominated by the shipping line. This adjustment aims to provide a level playing field for all CFSs. For further assistance, contact the Deputy/Assistant Commissioner in charge of the DPD cell.
