of <h1>Customs Warns Against Using RFID E-Seals from Leghorn Group Italy Due to Security Concerns; Exporters Advised to Avoid.</h1> The Customs Department has issued a public notice addressing concerns about electronic seals used on export containers. It has been reported that some European manufacturers supply seals that can be scanned from a distance without being locked. Specifically, RFID e-seals from Leghorn Group Italy, distributed by three vendors, do not meet security requirements. Exporters are advised against using e-seals from these vendors until further notice. If such e-seals are found during scanning, Customs officials will assess the security of the seals and decide on further examination based on risk assessment. Any issues should be reported to the Assistant Commissioner of Customs.
