Ministry of Textiles Launches RoSCTL Scheme for Garment Exporters, Replacing ROSL; Benefits via Duty Credit Scrips.
The Ministry of Textiles has introduced the Scheme for Rebate of State and Central Taxes and Levies (RoSCTL) on the export of garments and made-ups, effective from March 7, 2019. This scheme replaces the previous Rebate of State Levies (ROSL) scheme. Exporters will receive benefits through duty credit scrips similar to the Merchandise Exports from India Scheme (MEIS). During the transition, claims under the ROSL scheme will be treated as RoSCTL claims. Stakeholders are advised to follow the standing order and contact the Joint Commissioner of Customs, Ludhiana, for any issues.
