of <h1>Exporters' Dual Benefits of Zero Duty EPCG and SHIS Addressed in FTP 2009-14; Unnecessary Restrictions Removed.</h1> The circular addresses the issue of exporters receiving dual benefits of Zero duty EPCG and SHIS under the FTP 2009-14, which was not in compliance with the policy. Detected by DRI and highlighted by CAG, the issue involved specific provisions from the FTP and HBP. Following consultations, the Department of Commerce and Revenue issued Public Notice No. 30/2015-2020 to resolve pending issues related to these benefits. Consequently, certain restrictions in customs notifications were deemed unnecessary and removed. Stakeholders are encouraged to report any difficulties encountered to the customs office.
