of <h1>ESANCHIT Platform Expands: 16 More Agencies Join, PGAs to Upload LPCOs Starting August 1, 2019.</h1> The circular announces the expansion of the eSANCHIT platform, a paperless processing system under SWIFT for uploading digitally signed Licenses/Permits/Certificates/Other Authorizations (LPCOs) by Participating Government Agencies (PGAs). Since its initiation on April 1, 2018, 27 PGAs have been onboarded, and now 16 more PGAs are being added, bringing the total to 43. From August 1, 2019, importers, exporters, and customs brokers will no longer upload LPCOs themselves; PGAs will handle this task. The circular emphasizes the importance of correct email registration on ICEGATE for communication and encourages dissemination of this information among trade members.
