Eligible Chartered Engineers, affiliated with the Institution of Engineers (India), must submit applications by November 4, 2016. The role involves preparing valuation reports as per CBEC Circular No. 4/2008-Cus and requires expertise and integrity. Selected engineers will be empanelled for a year, and their services will be advisory. Importers will bear service charges, and any false information may lead to disqualification and penalties.
