of <h1>Pune Customs Updates Electronic Sealing Rules for Exporters: New Self-Sealing Permissions from Jan-March 2019.</h1> The Commissioner of Customs in Pune has issued an addendum to Public Notice No. 31/2017 regarding the implementation of electronic sealing for containers by exporters under the self-sealing procedure. Exporters with Authorized Economic Operator status or those with self-sealing and factory stuffing permissions can self-seal containers at their premises. Additional exporters have been granted self-sealing permissions from January to March 2019. The notice and its addenda are available on the Pune Customs website. Stakeholders are encouraged to report any difficulties in implementing these procedures to the Principal Commissioner of Customs.
