of <h1>Mumbai Customs Launches Project Imports Module in ICES for Streamlined Registration and Bond Filing.</h1> The Customs Office at Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Mumbai, has introduced a 'Project Imports module' in the Indian Customs EDI System (ICES) to streamline project import processes, including project registration, ledger maintenance, and finalization. The first phase enables registration of projects and import bonds, with field formations instructed to expedite this for existing and new projects. From June 19, 2019, filing Bills of Entry for Project Imports requires quoting the Project Registration Number and Bond Number. Any implementation issues should be reported to the Additional or Joint Commissioner of Customs. This notice serves as a standing order for officers and staff.
