of <h1>ESANCHIT System Expands: 23 New Agencies Join Paperless Trade Initiative for Licenses and Permits from July 1, 2019.</h1> The circular addresses the implementation of the eSANCHIT system for paperless processing of Licenses, Permits, Certificates, and Other Authorizations (LPCOs) by Participating Government Agencies (PGAs) under the SWIFT initiative. Initially, three PGAs were onboarded, and now 23 additional PGAs are included. From July 1, 2019, importers, exporters, and Customs Brokers cannot upload previously issued LPCOs, as PGAs will handle this task. LPCOs issued in the last 15 days before the cut-off date must be uploaded by PGAs, with older LPCOs also being eligible for uploading to facilitate trade. Difficulties in implementation should be reported to the Commissioner of Customs.
