of <h1>Shipping lines must file Export General Manifest electronically on ICEGATE before departure per Section 41 of Customs Act, 1962.</h1> All shipping lines, trade, and stakeholders are informed that the Export General Manifest (EGM) must be filed electronically on ICEGATE as per Section 41 of the Customs Act, 1962, before a vessel departs with export goods. The submission of a hard copy of the EGM to the Customs House and Docks is no longer required, as the information is accessible in the system. Shipping lines and agents are responsible for ensuring the EGM is filed accurately and without errors. Any difficulties in implementing this notice should be reported to the Commissioner of Customs (Port).
