of <h1>Customs Operations Paused for Disaster Recovery Drill from Feb 15-17; Stakeholders Must Prepare for System Transition.</h1> The Directorate General of Systems, Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, will conduct a Disaster Recovery Drill from February 15 to 17, 2019. During this period, document filing and online payment of customs duties will be temporarily halted at specified times. The drill involves switching operations from the Data Centre in Delhi to the Disaster Recovery site in Chennai and back. Stakeholders must use Fully Qualified Domain Names for server connections and ensure public IPs of the DR site are whitelisted if necessary. Stakeholders are also required to provide contact details for emergency communication during the drill.
