of <h1>Chennai Customs Updates Jurisdiction: Amendments to Export and Preventive Commissionerates as per Public Notice No. 47/2019.</h1> The Public Notice No. 47/2019 issued by the Principal Chief Commissioner of Customs in the Chennai Zone details amendments to the jurisdiction of reorganized field formations. Specifically, it modifies Annexure A of the earlier Public Notice 21/2018. The changes include the deletion of 'Bills of Entry' under the Export Commissionerate, now covering cases related to goods in port areas without filed Shipping Bills. Additionally, a new point is added under the Preventive Commissionerate addressing imported goods without filed Bills of Entry. These changes are effective from July 4, 2019, until further notice.
