<h1>SEBI Announces Dematerialized Trading Schedule for Companies: Key Dates in April and May 2001.</h1> The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) issued a circular addressing the trading and settlement of dematerialized securities. Companies were required to establish connectivity with depositories by specific dates. For 122 companies that met the January 29, 2001 deadline, compulsory dematerialized trading will commence on April 28, 2001. The remaining 153 companies will be traded only on the 'trade for trade' segment from February 19, 2001. Additionally, 82 companies that established connectivity after being listed for 'trade for trade' will transition to normal trading from February 26, 2001, and compulsory dematerialized trading from May 28, 2001.
