of <h1>Jurisdiction Clarified for SEIS Applications: File with RA for Non-Zero Export Turnover Unit per Para 3.06(c) Guidelines.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade clarifies the jurisdictional authority for filing SEIS applications under Para 3.06 (c) of the Handbook of Procedures. For Importer Exporter Code (IEC) holders with units in both Domestic Tariff Areas (DTA) and Special Economic Zones (SEZ), the application should be filed with the jurisdictional Regional Authority (RA) where the unit with non-zero export turnover is located. If the DTA has no export turnover but the SEZ does, the application should be submitted to the Development Commissioner of the SEZ, as specified in Appendix 1A.
