of <h1>New Audit Commissionerate Established in Mysore Zone to Oversee Excise and Service Tax from October 15, 2014.</h1> A new Audit Commissionerate has been established in the Mysore Central Excise Zone following a Cadre Review. This office will oversee all Central Excise and Service Tax assessees within the jurisdictions of the Commissioners of Central Excise and Service Tax in Mysore, Mangalore, and Belgaum. The Audit Commissionerate will operate under the Mysore Central Excise Zone from October 15, 2014. The current address is temporary and may change, with notifications to be provided to the trade and industry. Relevant notifications from the Ministry of Finance were issued on September 16, 2014.
