of <h1>SEBI Enhances Custodian Requirements: Annual System Reviews, Monthly Reports, and Unlisted Securities ISINs Needed by March 31.</h1> The circular outlines new requirements for custodians of securities to enhance operational efficiency and supervision. Custodians must conduct an annual review of their systems, procedures, and controls, submitting reports to SEBI by March 31 of the following year, including actions taken. Monthly market value reports of securities are required by the seventh day of each month. Reporting of FII equity trades in dBase format will cease after May 21, 2001, continuing only in text mode, while debt reporting remains unchanged. Separate trade reports are needed for holidays when SEBI is closed. ISINs for unlisted securities must be generated, with relevant information submitted within specified timelines.
