of <h1>Hyderabad updates Service Tax administration: New location codes assigned to six groups under ACES project. Use correct codes.</h1> The Hyderabad Commissionerate has centralized the administration of Service Tax with six Service Tax Groups, each now assigned a specific location code due to the implementation of the Automation in Central Excise and Service Tax project (ACES). Previously, all registrations used the location code 920100. The new codes are: Group I - 920131, Group II - 920132, Group III - 920133, Group IV - 920134, Group V - 920135, and Group VI - 920136. Service Tax assessees must use their respective group location codes on the GAR Challan for tax payments. This notice should be communicated to all relevant parties.
