of <h1>Goa Clarifies 12% GST Rate on Sprinkler and Drip Irrigation Systems Under Entry 195B, Schedule II.</h1> The Government of Goa issued a circular clarifying the GST tax rate for sprinkler and drip irrigation systems, including laterals, under entry No. 195B of Schedule II to notification No. 38/1/2017-Fin(R&C)(1/2017-Rate). Initially, goods under HSN 8424 were taxed at 18%, but the GST Council later recommended a 12% rate for micro irrigation systems, including sprinklers and drip irrigation systems. The term 'sprinklers' in entry 195B encompasses the entire sprinkler irrigation system, which includes nozzles and laterals, attracting a 12% GST rate. Any difficulties should be reported to the Commissioner of State Tax.
