of <h1>Three-Month Application Window Opens for MEIS Claims on Delayed Shipping Bills; File Within Deadline to Avoid Penalties.</h1> A three-month window is provided for applying for the Merchandise Exports from India Scheme (MEIS) concerning shipping bills with HS Codes that were harmonized and notified under MEIS Appendix 3B, Table 2 after a delay. The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has received these shipping bills from the Customs Server, allowing applications under MEIS. Applicants must file claims within three months from the EDI shipping bills' upload to the DGFT Server to avoid late cut provisions. Further shipping bills will be made available as Customs transmits them to DGFT. This notice is issued with official approval.
